This brings back memories...
I remember seeing the beach in MNOG and it was just so tranquil and beautiful and I loved how the game began and ended on that beach. As for MNOG II, I enjoyed it, but the mechanics were terrible and I never finished it due to glitches.
In 2013, I played a fan-restored MNOG II and it had NO GLITCHES! I was able to play my way to the end by using a cheat to give myself higher stats instead of wasting my time. I'd like to think that Hahli went though an 80's training montage to get good at Kohli.
After winning the Championship game, Ta-Koro was destroyed and I walked down the path leading out of the volcano, I was shocked at what I saw. I saw the Ta-Wahi Beach, and it brought so much nostalgia.
MNOG II had a very fitting ending; it ended where it began.
